Just a few moments in July

After 4th of July in Gloucester we did just a few summery things.

Seems like the girls were gone a LOT in July.  K12 came for a visit, Q10 spend a week with Meme & Pep and K12, then we got K12 for the next week and the three girls went to the STEM camp together this year. FUN.

We went to the pool of course:

And Q10 and her friend K10 biked with me to Dunkin' Donuts:

And I think Q10 came to work with me one day, either in July or August. She was well received, did some work for me, did some coding or minecraft, ate some candy, and probably watched a lot of videos:

Then the girls spent a week with Ninoo & Papa & A12 at Niagra Falls. I have no pictures!

Vaction: Ice cream

We went to Cape Cod, and TCR and I took a side jaunt to Nantucket. Fun, beautiful, relaxing.  Bike rides, beaches, flowers, fun. Etc. Etc.

But usually my vacation goal is this: Ice cream every day. So, we selfie'd it up when we had ice cream. Some of you might have seen these on facebook. I take my ice cream very seriously.

  

 

Vacation: Parasailing

I've done it, I never need to do it again. In fact, I didn't need the thumbs up lets go higher bit that I agreed to and TCR and MLM thought would be a good idea. Nope. Not for me.

But it was fun. Everybody enjoyed it.

Vacation: Cousins

Swim time trials and first meet

Q10 wanted to join the swim team. So, she did. What she says she told me, and what I don't think she told me, was that she didn't want to participate in the meets. We've compromised on two meets and the time trials.

Breast stroke. If you watch she is watching K10 at the end of the race, and she beat her (while she was looking over her shoulder the whole time) but she DQ'd (I think because she hit with one hand, not two). That offended her a bit. Oh well, better next time!

Q10 Talent Show

Oof. I'm way behind. Talent show from JUNE.

And then the after dance ... Q10 is doing the bunny hop.

Harp. Harpity Harp Harp.

Q10 took up the harp last summer. I bought her a harp last summer. And she had her first harp recital on June 4th.

She is really very good! Crazy good! I love that she plays the harp!!!

Isn't she good?? And the recital was only 30 minutes long. One harp, one trumpt, one guitar, and two piano players. The variety kept us from being bored.
