Possum in the yard

Right, I know possums are not uncommon, but this poor girl looks old and creaky and I was afraid she was going to die in our yard. Worse, she might NOT die in our yard and just be very sick and dying in our yard.

L4 was going CRAZY with her in the yard (She started right under the deck, just a few feet from the house). She was taking her time, but within an hour she got across the yard, through the fence, and into the neighbor's yard. I can't see in there, so I don't know how she fared.

5th Grade Reflections

As a rising 6th grader, Q11 is leaving elementary school, and they had a big ceremony to mark the end of the year for the 5th graders and help them transition to middle school.

Q11 got the math, science, writing awards, as well as she was the only child to get all As all 4 terms. Way to go, Q!!

She looks very mature here ... maybe embarrassed at getting multiple awards? It would have embarrassed me, but maybe she can take it in stride.

Q and her friends were asked to say a few words about a couple of teachers. They did.

And then J11's mom took them out to IHOP.  Yay!

She is sounding very very good. Love this.
