And apparently we took no pictures. I don't recall it at all. Maybe I can blame it on lack of sleep, since C10 was still nursing at night. Yeah that's what I'll do.
Anyway, friends of mine went to the Billy Goat Trail last weekend and I thought we should do that with our girls, but the dog can't hit the whole of that trail, so we decided to stay in Prince George's County instead. It isn't a thrilling or challenging trail like the Billy Goat Trail but it was nice.
The first thing we did when we got there was go to the wrong place. This was a boat ramp, not very well used. There was one truck there with a man in it, reading the paper. But the water was high, almost up to the top of the dock. The girls wanted to stay here, although it was kind of ... not exciting.
When we got to the actual trail we meant to be on, we started on the first loop. One of many that overlapped and linked. so we were actually on this bit of the trail 3 or 4 times, as we did the different loops. Maybe 5.
C10 found multiple fairy houses, and Q8 found a bark "gun" which she proceeded to brandish around, and ask if it would be more effective as a knife or a gun. When asked what her goal was (to kill you, mumma) the answer was clearly gun. So she proceeded to shoot me with the bark gun. And then hugged C45 and told him she missed her gun (because C10 had broken it)
